Purpose

The AIA has served as the professional society of architects for over 150 years. Dedicated to the success of the profession, we work to advance the value of architects and architecture in the community.

The Northern Nevada Chapter actively participates in community development issues and contributes to the living standards of people by improving their built environments. The AIA strives to respond to your professional needs and the public you serve. We offer a wide array of services, benefits, products and resources to our members. We invite you to stand with us in developing public awareness of the value of architecture, the importance of good design, and the quality that architects add to our community.

Membership Categories

Architect Must be currently licensed to practice architecture in the U.S. and proof of current license must be furnished to complete membership processing. Annual Dues: $572.00 (includes national, state and local chapter dues) Download application here!

Associate

Must be participating in career responsibilities recognized by licensing authorities as constituting credit toward licensure (intern), or, under the supervision of an architect in a professional or technical capacity, or a faculty member in a university program in architecture, or hold a professional degree in architecture.

Allied and Allied Professional

The Allied membership category is intended for those companies and individuals who support the goals and mission of AIA, an interest in supporting AIANN programs and events, and a desire for a higher level of interaction with AIA Members. Membership benefits include:

  • BRONZE Invitations and announcements of AIANN events
  • BRONZE Printed AIANN membership list twice a year
  • BRONZE Recognition on website, newsletter, and promotional materials
  • BRONZE Sponsorship priority for quarterly luncheons
  • SILVER Above + Complementary admission for one person to 3rd or 4th quarter luncheon
  • GOLD Above + Two Complementary admissions to DICE Conference

The Allied Professional membership category is for licensed design profesionals such as Engineers, Geotechnical Engineers, Surveyors, Landscape Architects, Interior Designers and Residential Designers. This designation has been created to recognize their expertise. Architects are ineligible for this category.
