This course is built to educate those that have an interest in K-Higher Education building design and maintenance:

• Learn the basic components of paint- pigment, binder, water and additives. Low VOC and water-based products/systems

• Focus on surface preparation as an essential element of a quality paint system. 

• Differentiate types of building environments as they apply to an educational campus. 

• Create environments that socially, emotionally, and academically encourage the student.  Colors that reference home are those that reduce tension, anxiety, agitation, apprehension, and promote a sense of well-being.
