Young Architects Forum (YAF) Northern Nevada is a committee of AIA Northern Nevada dedicated to empowering emerging professionals in architecture and design. Our mission is to connect, support, and inspire the next generation of leaders while raising awareness of the value of thoughtful, high-quality design in shaping our built environment.
We provide opportunities for young architects and emerging professionals to grow - whether it’s through skill-building workshops, ARE study groups, portfolio reviews, mentorship, or networking with allied professionals. YAF Northern Nevada encourages career development, leadership, and collaboration across disciplines, creating a supportive community where ideas can thrive.

Vision Statement
The Young Architect Representative for Nevada serves as the connection between the national Young Architects Forum, Nevada chapter, and the local chapter. The vision is to empower young architects by ensuring they are informed, supported, and connected to the broader resources and initiatives of AIA, while fostering a strong local community of future leaders. A Young Architect is defined as an AIA member who has been licensed for fewer than 10 years.

Distribute Information
Share YAF National initiatives, opportunities, and resources with
AIA Northern Nevada members, while elevating the perspectives and needs of young architects to the national level.
Collaborate Locally
Partner with the AIA Northern Nevada NEXT and Las Vegas NEXT
Committee to coordinate programs, events, and initiatives that strengthen professional development, mentorship, and community engagement.
